ÜberTwitter; Most Popular Twitter Client for BlackBerry

featured_image_ubertwitter

For some reason, this is not to be unexpected. Why you ask? My woman’s Blackberry Bold has become her next best friend. When she got her Bold (and for almost free mind you), she asked me, “Honey, which is the best Twitter for the Blackberry?” After having read bunch of articles and seen a lot of Tweets from peeps, I noticed many of them liked using ÜberTwitter. So when I read a story that says ÜberTwitter now accounts for 1.26 percent of Twitter users. She loves the fact she can take a picture, write up her tweet (which 30% of the time is of her dog laying there looking cute) and easily posts it to Twitter.

Is it genius in marketing that ÜberTwitter has a lot of celebraties using it’s software. No. What makes ÜberTwitter so good is that are able to do show your location (myloc.me) and post a photo (mypict.me), in which people can click on links and see what you posted. It also helps that ÜberTwitter has a nice splash page advertising on each.

Sprint’s Developer Site Shows HTC Touch Pro 2; Proof It’s On The Way

sprint-logo-11The proof is in the pudding. Sprint’s Touch Pro 2 developer website is now up. Among the standard features which are WVGA Display, WinMo Pro 6.1, 3.2 camera, large slide-out QWERTY, WiFi and International Quadband, although there isn’t a mention of a 3.5mm jack on the phone. We are all hoping that this is the case and of course, all of the specs are not listed on the site. We would just hate to see a need for a dongle to be used on this phone when other carriers have already gotten that ‘issue’ fixed.
