Samsung’s i8910 Omnia HD; Has Sexy AMOLED

I got an opportunity to hold the Samsung Symbian based i8910 today in my hand today and I can say that the photo does not do it justice. The AMOLED is insanely bright. Some features are AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors (imagine Palm’s webOS running on this screen!), 360 x 640 pixels, 3.7 inches, HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100, video in HD 720p at 24fps, 720×480 pixels at 30fps, 8 GB/16 GB storage, 256 MB RAM. HTC Touch Pro 2 Headed To Sprint September 3rd?

TP21The fellows over at PhoneArena got their hands on an internal document which states the HTC Touch Pro 2 is headed to Sprint on September 3rd. Although Sprint has denied it’s very existance, the evidence is fairly comprehensive that the handset is due to land very soon. So for all of you that are waiting for one of the hotly anticipated WinMo device with that big, beautiful screen and a nice landscape qwerty, your time is almost up.
