Samsung Dash m850 Now Dashing to Sprint’s Lineup

samsung-m850-invisibleshield

Samsung’s sleek m850 little touchscreen is headed to Sprint here shortly as we see in this FCC approval. The above photo made the rounds a while back as it was an Invisible Shield leak but now we have some information, but not much. The new m850 Dash is filled with a dash of Bluetooth, EV-DO, WiFi but not much more is written about it. It could very well be Sprint’s jump into the Android foray as the CEO of Sprint, Mr. Dan Hesse himself now believes that the Android OS is ready for prime time. So whether it’s running Symbian or Android, we sure don’t know but either way, it should be another nice phone getting ready to make an appearance in Sprint’s Fall/Winter lineup.

In a new build and pretty sexy I might add, Microsoft has released WinMo 6.5 build 23022. We are being told that this is not the final version but an evolution between WinMo 6.5 and WinMo 7.0. In the latest release, the OS is very finger friendly with buttons that are near the bottom like a soft-key bar. It seems that they are part of an attempt by Microsoft’s to rid themselves of awful stylus for regular interaction with your smart phone forever. If this is any indication where big MS is headed, we are certainly looking forward to all of the hard work MS is putting into their mobile strategy. Video is here.

Rogers Confirms Existence of 8GB iPhone 3GS

iphone3gs-rogers

Last weeks screen shots of the web page on Rogers wireless confirms the existence of an 8GB iPhone 3GS. It appears that Rogers is trying sell it’s existing stock of 8GB iPhones in order to make room for the hotly rumored8GB iPhone 3GS. For all of the fence sitters, this may be the one that knocks you off and makes you cave it to pick up a $99 iPhone 3GS. Although Gizmodo claims that they received a response from Rogers that the above was posted in error, no carrier would confirm the existence of the iPhone, unless they wanted a nice lawsuit and perhaps their ability to sell the phone yanked away from them by Apple, for violation of the Non-Disclosure Agreement between the two.
