VIDEO: Blackberry Storm 2; Able to Turn Off Clicking Sound

Again, Salomondrin comes through with some more awesome video of the Blackberry Storm 2. This time, the video shows the ability to turn off the clicking noise on the Storm 2 device. This should come as a much welcomed addition to the phone as many people wanted this option on the original device.

Blackberry Magnum Now Called Dakota; Rears Ugly Rumor-mill Again

Remember the Blackberry Magnum? The rumor about a touchscreen with physical QWERTY that has been floating around since October 17, 2008? Well it seems as though this rumor is not quite done yet. With the addition of the Palm Pre and now Palm Pixi to the touch screen lineup both having a physical QWERTYs, the rumor-mill of the unseen Blackberry is running wild again. But this time there are more specifics.

Saloman reports on his blog that the new Blackberry will be sporting the following features:

1) Name: Dakota
2) Size: Bold size
3) full QWERTY keyboard
4) GSM 3G speeds
5) Has a trackpad <— yes, you read correctly
6) Has a touchscreen (this is where the angels start singing)
7) Its development is AHEAD of the Blackberry Essex. Yep, we are going to see this bad boy really soon.
