Nokia Booklet 3G October 22nd for $299.99 with 2 year contract

NokiaBooklet3g!

Nokia’s long awaited 3G Booklet will be released October 22nd, the same day as Windows 7, and of course comes with Windows 7. The Booklet will be subsidized by AT&T and released at $299.99 for a $60.00 a month plan on a 2 year contract or $599.99 without a contract. The Booklet is available exclusively through Best Buy for the initial launch and comes with a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom based processor, 1 GB of RAM, 120GB hard drive, and an HDMI port. Nokia is touting 12 hour battery life on the Booklet which would be nice if it holds true, but we will have to run it through some real life tests.  It is overall quite a nice little package  and an exciting first Windows 7 Device to have on Microsoft’s Windows 7 launch date.  So is this the Netbook class device you’ve been waiting for?

China’s exclusive Dell Mini 3i running Android rumored to arrive on AT&T

dell_mini_3i

According to The Wall Street Journal Dell branded phone running Android is set to arrive on AT&T early next year. This is a win for people who need AT&T and don’t want to use the iPhone. Aside from AT&T’s exclusive iPhone deal their smartphone line up isn’t very strong. An Android phone, especially from Dell, would really spice up AT&T’s line up.

China’s version of the Dell Mini 3i comes without WiFi and is missing some of the Google branded Android features. We expect the one coming to AT&T to be full featured, with WiFi, and possibly a better camera. Something to look forward to for Android fans waiting for AT&T’s GSM Version of Android.
