Apple tablet (AKA iSlate) specs leaked?
January 3, 2010 2 Comments
The science fiction product by Apple called, the Apple Tablet has another rumor bug that is spreading like fire. PhoneArena received what they call a ‘leaked’ spec page for the new Apple Tablet which looks to be officially titled, iSlate. There has been some evidence leading us to believe this might be true. AppleInsider and Macrumors both posted a story that Apple purchased domain name, iSlate.com back in 2007. Not 100% sure if we can believe that just yet and this leaked spec sheet is of course just a rumor as well since we’ve heard no word from Apple , but true or not, this spec list is definitely mouth watering.
If you are wondering if this thing is powerful like a laptop/netbook or weak like the iPhone or any other phone than be prepared for a surprise. Per the most recent leak, this spec sheet shows the tablet is going to be quite the beast and packed in a small package. 7.1″ capacitive touchscreen(previously rumored 10.1″), 2.26 Ghz Duo core processor, 1-2 GB of Ram, 120 GB SATA Drive, and a wireless N router. Also the spec sheet is calling the OS, Mac OS X Clouded Leopard v10.7. This is a big one folks. I am going to go ahead and hope this is a real leak but I am also headed to the kitchen to eat a giant bowl of salt. So do what you will with this rumor, take a look for yourself.
