iPhone still selling well on new carriers, Vodafone says 50,000 pre-orders

The iPhone 3GS has already been out on O2 for some time and since the end of O2′s exclusivity the iPhone has still been the talk of the town in the UK. Vodafone is now carrying the iPhone and is the 4th carrier in the UK to do so. According to Macworld, Vodafone says there were over 50,000 pre ordered iPhones that shipped out on the day the iPhone went on sale. Yes after being available for a decent amount of time on 3 other carriers Vodafone was still able to sell 50,000 pre ordered iPhones. It looks like the iPhone trend is not going to die any time soon and with rumors of iPhone 4.0 being just around the corner, things might become even more exciting for potential iPhone buyers in the near future.
