Apple files recent Canadian trademark: iPad

It appears that Apple has  name “iPad” is the choice for the forthcoming Apple tablet. A recently unearthed filing in the  Canadian trademark databases is an application for the name iPad by Slate Computing, a very well known front company for Apple. The application was originally submitted in 28 July 2009, with various revisions for translations, but this makes it much more recent than trademarks filed for the name iSlate. Is this iPhone 4.0 we are hearing whispers about?
