New Blackberry Bold Touchscreen Outs Itself

FoneFrenzy just loves breaking stories: Someone has loaded up the Magnum and pulled the trigger on this Blackberry device. My twitter cohort Cell Guru has dropped a major bomb for the Crackberry fans today (and sorry to all the dudes that follow this stuff, but CG has ousted the best BB to date with this scoop); a Touchscreen Blackberry Bold. No details on specs are yet released. But in these photos, it is apparent that this new Bold style phone does not contain a trackball/trackpad but rather, it appears to be a touchscreen cousin to the Blackberry Storm1/Storm 2/9000/9700 all worked into one device.

This combination for a new Blackberry device seems very intriguing to say the least. But RIM had better have something more up it’s sleeve than a phone with just a touchscreen. Although, I would have to admit that the 9700 produced by RIM was their best phone yet. If this handset is anything to look forward too, many touch screen fans will be peaking over their neighbors shoulders to find out what kind of phone they are holding with a Bold/Tour style touchscreen + keyboard; considered one of the best in the industry. We love what we see so far!

  13. I bought the LG Dare about a year and a half ago and it’s basically a cheap wannabe iPhone. You just can’t compare the touchscreen with that of the iPhone, though I will say it’s camera and video recorder are very good. I’m just waiting for the iphone to be sold through Verizon, and I hope it’s soon because my Dare is falling apart.. Hurry up Apple, stop being so “exclusive”!
