Android 2.1 to hit the Motorola Droid this week

By Daniel Rodriguez

Today Engadget broke the news on some details regarding Android 2.1 and the Motorola Droid. Saying that it will receive Android 2.1 and will include native multi-touch in the browser (probably also in the gallery and has already been put in the maps application), it will have Google Goggles, and most of the other features in the Nexus One’s 2.1. What they said it would not include is the new 3D app drawer and the live wallpapers. We will have to wait and see what actually pans out. Turns out we won’t have to wait very long. Motorola today posted on their official Facebook page that Android 2.1 will be arriving on Droid’s this week.  They also go on to say that other device upgrade details will be given soon. We hope this means the Motorola Cliq, Devour, and any of the Motorola tablets will all receive Android 2.1 soon as well. Well Droid users, get ready to tap your update buttons frantically because it is finally coming. We will of course put up a side by side of both the Nexus One and Motorola Droid as soon as we receive our update. We are very excited to see the differences in performance and UI.

Hi, I just bought a new Iphone, the ringtones on it are rubbish. There are plenty of people selling ringtones but after the price I paid for the phone I am not going to pay for ringtones. I found this informative video on youtube and now I make my own ringtones http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEU0Avpk39s

Kudos for publishing such a wonderful post on your blog. This blog happens to be not only edifying but also especially original too. We come across a narrow number of webmasters who can think to write technical content that resourcefully. A lot of individuals go on searching for content on a issue like this. We ourselves went through several blogs to come across knowhow regarding this. I will check back repeatedly !
